Quonset State Airport (OQU)

Quonset State Airport is located at 210 Airport Street in North Kingstown, RI, situated on a peninsula that combines port, rail, road and air transportation facilities, and an extensive industrial park. OQU is home to both the Air and Army National Guard, who use the facility for training and aviation operations. Quonset Airport has two runways – the longest at 7,500 feet and the second at 4,000 feet.

Airport Tenants

There are a total of 24 privately owned airport-based tenants, including FlightLevel Aviation (FBO), The RI Air National Guard – C-130 Military Transport, the RI Army National Guard – Blackhawk Military Helicopters, Air Traffic Control Tower, Corporate Aircraft Hangar Development and a military-owned Precision Instrument Landing System managed and supported by the FAA.
